Venice Beach, CA – Innovation Entertainment Group is happy to announce that Sebastian Haimerl will be a judge for the music competition this year.
Sebastian Haimerl is the Founder and CEO of Malibu Sound Music Productions and a recording engineer/musician whose career has included extensive work as an audio engineer and music producer. A native of Hamburg, Germany, he moved to California in 1993 to continue working on music recording and production projects (including soundtracks for TV series and films) at major recording studios in Los Angeles. Sebastian has since worked with a lot of great music producers, including Rick Rubin, T-Bone Burnett, Mike Frazer, Ed Cherney, Pat Leonard, Thom Panunzio, Sheryl Crow, Neil Dorfsman and Eddie Offered. Among the major recording artists he has worked with are Jackson Browne, AC/DC, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Jewel, David Crosby, Randy Travis, Vonda Shepard, Slayer and Tom Jones. In forming MSMP, Sebastian has realized his live-long dream to create a unique and exciting music production company, offering the know-how of the Los Angeles recording industry to artists around the world.
Lo Budget Love is an annual music contest offering the opportunity for aspiring songwriters and musicians to have their songs heard in a professional quality music CD. All unsigned artist are welcome to participate. There are no fees beyond the original submission fee if a musical recording is selected to be part of the compilation CD, earmarked for release Spring 2006.
A sampling of musical genres for the Lo-Budget Love 2006 competition include; Afro-Peruvian, Bachata, Calypso, Fena, Gnawa, Haupango, Juju Music, Klezmer music, Laavloe, Latin, Native American, Punjabi, Persian, Reggae and Worldbeats among others.
