Venice Beach, CA – Innovation Entertainment Group is happy to announce that Kevin James will be a judge for the music competition this year.


Kevin James is the host of WHUR’s highest-rated adult contemporary radio program “Slow Jams.” He cradles his listeners with music from the ancient to the future. Kevin’s wide range of knowledge and specialized background create a unique blend of sense perception and technical aspects that makes for good music. From the Dana School of Music to Oberlin College Conservatory, this Youngstown State graduate has heard it all and takes pleasure in controlling the playlist for his nationally syndicated program.

Before joining WHUR (Washington, D.C.), Kevin could be heard on WKYS (Washington, D.C.) and The Beat, KKBT (Los Angeles). As a music producer, he partnered with Right Stuff Records on the series, “Slow Jams ‘’The Timeless’ Collection,” which currently include 9-volumes plus a greatest hits CD.

Lo-Budget Love is an annual music contest offering the opportunity for aspiring songwriters and musicians to have their songs heard in a professional quality music CD. All unsigned artist are welcome to participate. There are no fees beyond the original submission fee if a musical recording is selected to be part of the compilation CD, earmarked for release Spring 2006.

A sampling of musical genres for the Lo Budget Love 2006 competition include;
Afro-Peruvian, Bachata, Calypso, Fena, Gnawa, Haupango, Juju Music, Klezmer
music, Laavloe, Latin, Native American, Punjabi, Persian, Reggae and Worldbeats
among others.

The deadline for this competition is fast approaching (December 31, 2005).
