Industry Insights: Innovation Entertainment at the Grammys... Career Day, that is!

A couple months ago Mohan, mentioned that he had received an email offering the opportunity to volunteer at Grammy Career Day. Of course, being the avid music lovers we are, Thristina and I decided that this was an opportunity that we simply could not pass up. Networking with people from the Grammy Foundation, skipping out on a day of office work, and the possibility of seeing Maroon 5 up close and personal? We figured it was pretty much a win-win situation. A little part of us hoped that there was going to be some glitz involved (and there probably was for those people who got to be Talent Escorts ) but as we should both know by now, being in the “biz” is not always as glamorous as it looks... but we love it just the same.

The Tour is an annual event in Venice, California that showcases unusual and delightful homes and gardens that exemplify the creative and original tastes of their owners, as well as the talents of local designers. The tour is a fundraising event benefitting the non-profit, Neighborhood Youth Association ("NYA").
